Knowledge about investments, types of investment in tourism, investment appraisal methods

COURSE CONTENT

• Concept and basic features of investment;
• Sharing of investment depending on the types of services in tourism, for example: investment in the catering, accommodation investment, transport investments;
• Investment process and its structure;
• Account the efficiency of investment projects;
• Investment decisions;
• Analysis of risk and uncertainty in investment decisions;
• Participants in the investment process, range of activities, responsibilities: private client, public client, architects, design team, control system, hygiene and safety of construction;
• Evaluate the effectiveness of investment projects:
  • Static methods for assessing the effectiveness of investment,
  • Discount method: net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), comparative analysis of methods NPV and IRR, Modified Internal Rate of Return( MIRR),
  • Case study;
• Sample analysis of tourism investment.
