Students profile
Students studying at the Tourism and Recreation Faculty can find employment in the tourism industry, as well as enterprises related to the service of tourism. The tourism industry needs highly skilled professionals, with a solid preparation for work in offices, as well as representatives of the company abroad (the residents).
Students' qualifications and skills include not only the general aspects, but also the specific theoretical and practical knowledge, supported by professional experience. Students are also prepared to run a company of service cooperate with a foreign contractor and serves domestic and foreign tourists. After graduation the graduates acquire professional skills to work in local government administration and government and social organizations – in positions responsible for the development and promotion of tourism and recreation.
Study offer for incoming students
Individual students are requested to take subjects with the total number of 30 ECTS for one-semester study period or 60 ECTS for two-semester study period within a given academic year. MWSE offers students flexibility in studies within the framework of individual organization of studies or individual study programme. The programme of the course has been thoroughly analysed and worked out by the academics of the Chair of Tourism and Recreation as well as academics of the Chair of Management.
